Villa Escudero
Trip ng pinsan ko at ng kanyang girlfriends pumunta ditto, so I booked us a tour. If you want to know more about Villa Escudero, just visit their website: http://www.villaescudero.com/
AERA Memorial Museum
Camera is not allowed inside. Their collection consists of religious antiques, animals and historical items of Philippines. See it for yourself and be mesmerized when you get there.
Carabao Cart Ride
The ride will take you to your next
destination – The waterfalls restaurant. I really enjoyed their “panghaharana”.
Na “LSS” ako sa kanta nilang “Ang Pipit” at “Ay, Ay, Ay O Pag-ibig”. You’ll get
to see the wide garden of Villa Escudero through this ride.
Waterfalls Restaurant
I’m super excited to see their man made
waterfall. Serena mode
nanaman! Lol. By the way, we left our bags in their counter so it won’t get wet
while we enjoy our lunch.
They got 3 tables for their buffet. They
serve only Filipino food which tastes really really good.
The food at that time were,
Ø
Calderetang baka na sobrang lambot ng meat, it
feels like it melts in your mouth. Binalikbalikan ko to!
Ø
Inihaw na liempo. While some are medyo sunog,
Lechon Manok – another fav. Food of mine.
Pancit Canton – masarap at malasa, kaso I’m not
a fan of this type of pancit.
Ø
At iba pang pagkain. Please see pics.
Ø
Technically, masarap talaga ang mga pagkain, mga
paborito ko kaya masasabi ko talagng tunay masarap. Kaso konti lang ang
variety. Downside is water is the only free drink! We ordered Buko Juice, coz
we thought it was part of the buffet’s drinks, but then later on we learned
that it costs 40 pesos each, natawa nalang kami sa isa’t isa. Softdrinks are
also available – 40 pesos/can.
Childish mode again.
Bamboo Rafting
I know how to swim, but I don’t know how to
paddle. My cousin knows how to paddle, he doesn’t know how to swim. Keri na,
sabak na sa river! First time ko kaya gow lang! So ayan pak! Bilad sa araw!
Kapagod mag sagwan –tiis ganda lang hahaha.
Cultural show
Apparently, Villa Escudero’s staffs are
talented. It turned out that those dancers that performed cultural dances of
the Philippines are their employees. They’re so magaling and very graceful
(from a dancer’s point of view na rin). As someone who loves history, I totally
enjoyed the whole show! I felt that people also loved their performance and
even went to take picvtures with them at the end.
Swimming
Serena mode. Inenjoy namin ang nalalabing
oras bago umuwi.
Inabutan kami ng malabagyong ulan after naming
mag swimming.
Stay – 3,500 per person additional 1500 (500 each person, there’s three of us)
so that they will pick us up from our doorstep.
